The Good Hope community begins its seasonal celebration with the lighting of the Christmas Tree and a whole lot of Christmas activities beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday Dec. 6 at the Good Hope City Hall. This is a free event and includes hot chocolate and marshmallow roasting! For those last minute requests of Santa, there will be a letter writing station to make sure the little ones get their requests in in time. The also will be an ugly Christmas sweater contests for levity and what is Christmas with a visit from the Grinch!
The Christmas market will be open at the Good Hope Center where you can pick up a hayride to and from City Hall. Good Hope City Hall is located at 169 Highway 83.
