(Lawrenceville, Georgia) The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a recent burglary and fraud case. The incident took place on April 4, when an unknown suspect entered the garage of a home on Azalea Drive in Lawrenceville and stole a purse and wallet from two parked vehicles. A suspect was later caught on video surveillance making purchases at a Quik Trip on Buford Drive at 3 a.m. and at a Waffle House on Buford Drive at 5 a.m. and then later at the Walmart, also on Buford Drive.
A Waffle House employee told police that the suspect had talked about getting into a fight with his family and that he had visible marks on his arm and a black eye. He is described as a white male who was wearing eyeglasses, about 20-25 years old, 5-08, 200-250 lbs., brown hair, Washington Nationals navy-colored t-shirt, baggy black pants and wearing dark shoes at the time.
