This year, both the cities of Loganville and Social Circle had Independence Day celebrations on Saturday, July 1. If you were in either of the cities on Saturday afternoon, you were treated to Independence Day parades, fun activities and fireworks. There is no Freedom Fest in the City of Monroe this July 4th. Organizers say they hope to be able to be back in 2018. So if you are looking for fireworks on July 4th, you will likely have to travel outside Walton County, but you don’t have too far too go.
