LCA’s Class of 2020 graduation ceremony – with a difference

Loganville Christian Academy had planned to wait until July to give its Class of 2020 an official in-person graduation, but that was before the rise in cases again put everybody on notice that COVID-19 is still a concern. As a result, the in-person graduations did take place on the original date of July 17 as had been planned, just not at Snellville First Baptist Church with everyone present at one time. Instead, the graduation ceremony was moved back to the LCA campus and each graduate got an individual graduation ceremony with the presentation of their diploma.

Family and friends were able to watch and take photos of the event from their vehicles. It was not a traditional graduation, but it made for some very special moments. It enabled each student to get his or her very own graduation address from LCA Administrator Christy Monda highlighting their personality and what it was about them that made them special to the school.

It may not have been traditional, but the graduation ceremony for LCA’s Class of 2020 is one that neither the students nor the school will ever forget.

Congratulations Loganville Christian Academy Class of 2020
