GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (July 1, 2026) A 24-year-old Norcross man has been arrested in connection with a May incident in which a taxi driver was allegedly threatened with a knife after a dispute over a fare.
According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, Dimas Adalberto Rodas Hercules has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of certain felonies. He is being held at the Gwinnett County Jail.

Police said the incident occurred on May 10 when a taxi driver picked up Rodas Hercules and drove him to the 1500 block of Shenta Oak Drive in Norcross. Investigators say he paid only part of the fare and told the driver he was going inside to get the remaining money.
When the man did not return, the driver went to the residence to inquire about the unpaid fare. Police say Rodas Hercules then came outside holding a pole in one hand and a knife in the other, threatening the driver before the victim left the scene and called police.
The arrest follows a public appeal for information issued by detectives earlier this week. The investigation is ongoing.
