MONROE, GA (July 23, 2026) – The Monroe Police Department recently unveiled its latest vehicle for Monroe Area High School Resource Officer Eric Westbrooks, noting on social media that the department “is proud to unveil our newly wrapped School Resource Officer Tahoe, proudly representing the Monroe Area High School Purple Hurricanes!”
“This vehicle symbolizes more than school pride; it reflects our commitment to building positive relationships, protecting our students and staff, and being a visible presence on campus every day.”
The color purple is the official school color, visible throughout the school building, in the brickwork out front, and now on the SRO’s police vehicle that will be parked on the school grounds letting everybody know that the school is well protected.
