MPD Reports: Welfare check for man who got confused after leaving doctors office; slew of domestic disputes

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period May 22 – 28, 2026. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the fourth part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

• Disturbing The Peace – East Washington St- In reference to multiple subjects being loud in the parking lot. They were advised to keep the noise down.
• Suspicious Vehicle – Monroe Country Club – In reference to a vehicle parked at the listed location at unusual hours. The vehicle was unoccupied, and no suspicious persons were located in the surrounding area. All appeared okay.
• Foot Patrol – Downtown- Everything T4.
• Ems Assist – Ridge Rd – In reference to male having a seizure, Scene TOT EMS.Traffic Stop / Arrest – Highway 78 EB / Baker Street – Reference vehicle stopped for speeding and equipment offenses. Driver identified as Juan Reyes-Rebollar was found to be unlicensed. The driver also returned through GCIC as an aggravated deported felon through ICE. ICE was
• contacted and a detainer was placed. The was placed under arrest for multiple traffic offenses and transported to WCSO.
• Entering Auto – Highland Terrace – In reference to a vehicle being entered overnight and a purse stole. Complainant called back and advised purse was located. All ok.
• Dispute – W Spring St; Home Depot – In reference to a black male in a green hoodie disputing with a black female. Area check with negative contact subjects were gone when officers arrived
• Suspicious Vehicle – N Broad St Golden Pantry – Negative contact.
• Alarm – Great Oaks Dr. – Doors and windows secured. All appeared okay on location.
• Suspicious Vehicle – N Broad St. & E Marable St. – In reference to a Volkswagen Jetta driving erratically. The complainant lost contact at Alcovy St. and Breedlove Dr. The area was checked with negative contact.
• Mechanical Breakdown – Highway 78 / Highway 138 – Reference observing vehicle on the side of the road. Driver stated she was just watching the motorcade. All ok.
• Private Property Crash – W Spring St; Walmart: Private property crash, report in GEARS.
• Damage to Property – Pavilion Pkway – In reference to female subject advising she ran over wet paint on Victory Dr. Complaint did not want a report, remedies advised.
• Traffic Stop – E Spring St at N Hammond – Subject arrested and released on a copy of the citation for driving on a suspended license.
• Wanted Person – Magnolia Terrace – Male subject wanted for probation violation was located inside the residence and taken into custody without issue.
• Trespassing – McDaniel St – In reference to complainant calling about subject allegedly ringing her doorbell and leaving. Complainant did not observe anyone on her porch at the time, but has had issues with subject in the past. Report taken.
• Accident – E Church St – Single vehicle accident, GEARs report completed.
• Civil Dispute – Towler St – Complainant advised while she was incarcerated, her son’s ex-girlfriend took items from her residence. All parties lived at the location at the time. She requested a report for a cellphone that she pays for but the ex has permission to use. I explained that it’s a civil issue and to cancel the phone.
• 911 Hang Up – Glenwood Dr – Extensive history from location of 911 hang ups with only static on the line. Residents advised no land line and no one has the telephone number it came from. All ok.
• Juvenile Runaway – GW Carver Dr – In reference to a juvenile leaving her residence and going to grandmothers on Oak St. The juvenile was confirmed to be with grandmother. All okay.
• Dispute – W Spring St; Pizza Hut – Complainant upset that her pizza was not to her liking. She stated employees were rude on the phone and cussed her. She was told to contact the corporate office and there was nothing the police could do. Pizza hut made her a new pizza.
• Firearms – Glen Iris Dr – In reference to gunshots heard in the area. Area checked, fireworks spotted in the area.
• Dispute – Tall Oaks W – Complainant calling due to her ex-girlfriend breaking a window after she was locked out. Complainant was advised of remedies.
• Firearms – Perry St – In reference to complainant calling for the sound of gunshots in the area. The area was checked and residents of the area stated it was fireworks. All okay.
• Traffic Stop / Arrest) Hwy 78 EB & Aycock Ave – Traffic stop for no seatbelt. Male subject was arrested for No License, fingerprinted, and released on a copy of the citation.
• Scam – Brookland Ct. – In reference to subject sending money to an unknown party via CashApp, which was linked to his mother’s bank account, last date. Since then approximately $1,000.00 had been fraudulently withdrawn from his mother’s bank account and his phone and various accounts appeared to be compromised. Report taken.
• Animal Complaint – W Spring St; Walmart – In reference to a k9 locked in a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. Contact was made with the registered owner and the k9 was let out all okay
• Traffic Crash with injuries – Charlotte Rowell/Hwy 11- Two-vehicle crash with minor injuries. One person was transported to Piedmont Walton by EMS. Both vehicles were removed by Taylor’s. Report in GEARS.
• Accident – East Marable Street – Private property two vehicle accident. No injuries. Gears report.
• Traffic Crash – MLK Jr Blvd; Dunkin- Two-vehicle crash with one injury by complaint. Report in GEARS.
• Suspicious Person – N Midland Ave; Pot Luck – In reference to subject loitering near Pot Luck for some time and asking passerby for money, making staff and customers uncomfortable. Staff advised this had been an ongoing issue for weeks and that subject had been spoken with prior. City Ordinance 62-4 was explained to subject. She was criminally trespassed from Pot Luck for a period of 2 months and sent on her way.
• Suspicious Vehicle – Oakwood Lane – Complainant stated vehicles could not pass through the road. Emergency vehicles were able to make it into the road.
• Mechanical Breakdown – Highway 78 / Unisia Dr – Reference truck and trailer stalled on Highway 78. A friend of the complainant was able to tow the vehicle and trailer out of the roadway.
• Welfare Check – 3rd Street – In reference to checking the welfare of subject. All ok.
• Welfare Check – Hubbard St – In reference to complainant concerned after not being able to reach her father by phone. Contact was made with father who was okay and did not realize complainant had been trying to call him.
• Welfare Check – N Broad St; Golden Pantry – In reference to subject leaving the doctor’s office in Buford and somehow ending up at the Golden Pantry on N Broad. Spoke to his daughter and informed her that he was okay but confused on how he got here. Subject’s family informed me that they would be there at 1902 hours to pick up their father. Subject understood and said that he would wait in his vehicle until his family arrived. All okay.
• Theft Report – Springer Ln – In reference to a theft report for complainant missing 118 counts of 30 mg Oxycodone. Complainant was informed of how to get her medication and given a case card. All okay.
