Obituary and funeral arrangements: Ruby Mae Stephens, 92, of Monroe

Ruby Mae Stephens, age 92, of Monroe, died on August 7, 2017. She was born in Walton County to the late Mary “Molly” Sargent Coleman and the late William Oscar Coleman. She was preceded in death by her first husband, the late Harry Arnold Farmer, and second husband, the late Joseph Walter Stephens.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheryl Mesko of Monroe, Deborah Knight of Monroe; her son, Joseph Alan Stephens of Eatonton; 7 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
A Funeral service was held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Conner officiating. Interment followed at Hill Haven Memory Gardens.
