Participants sought for Hometown Heroes Parade in Social Circle for Walton County’s America 250 Celebration

Do you have a tractor, classic car, golf cart, marching band, dance team, business, club, church group, sports team—or just a whole lot of hometown pride? Then YOU are wanted in the Hometown Hero Parade as part of Walton County’s America 250 Celebration!

The Hometown Hero Parade rolls through Downtown Social Circle on Thursday, July 2 at 6:00 PM, and organizers are looking for participants of all kinds to help create the biggest parade Social Circle has ever seen.

Best of all, there is NO entry fee to participate.

This patriotic community parade is open to everyone. While the parade honors veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, and other hometown heroes, you do not have to be a veteran to join the parade. Families, businesses, civic groups, schools, churches, clubs, and community organizations are all encouraged to participate.
