State Rep. Bruce Williamson honors Walton County District Attorney’s Office with a special Georgia flag

WALTON COUNTY, – The Walton County District Attorney’s Office received a special recognition Monday when Georgia Rep. Bruce Williamson (R-Monroe) presented the office with a State of Georgia flag that was recently flown above the Georgia State Capitol.

The presentation took place June 1 at the Walton County Judicial Center. The flag, accompanied by a certificate signed by Governor Brian Kemp and Georgia Building Authority Executive Director Marty Smith, was given in recognition of the District Attorney’s Office and its service to Walton County residents.

Williamson, a Monroe native who has served in the Georgia House of Representatives since 2010, said the honor was intended to recognize the office’s hard work and dedication to the community.

District Attorney Randy McGinley thanked Williamson for the recognition, noting that the office remains committed to protecting victims, pursuing justice, and keeping local communities safe. McGinley also praised Williamson’s leadership at the Capitol and his support of those goals.

“I very much appreciate the leadership of our District Attorney, Randy McGinley, and the hard work and effectiveness of the Walton County District Attorney’s Office,” Williamson said.
