Walton County government announced that there will be a temporary road closing at the government building to make way for construction.
“The drive in front of the Walton County Government Building, located at 303 South Hammond Drive in Monroe, will be temporarily closed beginning Wednesday, May 23, due to construction on the Walton County Veterans Memorial. The parking lot will be accessible as usual and the front entrance will continue to be open during this time. We appreciate your patience as we work to complete our Veterans Memorial,“ Walton County spokesman Diane Baggett said.
