UPDATE: Some LIHEAP appointments still available for Walton and Gwinnett residents seeking assistance

Initial story

Partnership for Community Action (PCA) will offer walk-in assistance for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) from Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26, at its service locations on a first-come, first-served basis while funding remains available.

For residents in Walton County, walk-in hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents in Gwinnett County can visit from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Applicants must bring copies of all required documents, including:

  • Photo ID
  • Social Security cards for all household members
  • Proof of income for the past 30 days for household members age 18 and older
  • Current electric bill

PCA notes that applicants who do not have all required documents may be unable to complete their application. Medically homebound residents may request an appointment by completing the homebound questionnaire through PCA.
