Walton County Fire Rescue offers hands-on fire extinguisher training

Walton County Fire Rescue is offering hands-on fire extinguisher training designed to help businesses, schools, organizations and community groups feel more prepared to respond to a fire emergency.

• Training: Hands-on instruction on how fire extinguishers work and when and how to use them.
• Practice: Participants use electronic fire extinguisher simulators in a safe, realistic environment.
• On-site training: Sessions are held at your facility upon request.
• Who can participate: Businesses, schools, organizations and community groups.
• Benefits: Builds confidence and provides practical experience for responding to an emergency.
