Walton County voters reminded of June 16 Primary Runoff Election

Walton County voters will return to the polls on Tuesday, June 16, for the 2026 Primary Runoff Election, with advance voting opportunities available beginning June 6.

Advance voting will be held Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Voters may cast their ballots at any of three advance voting locations: Felker Park in Monroe, Meridian Park in Loganville, or the South Walton Community Center in Social Circle.

Election officials note that residents who did not participate in the May Primary are still eligible to vote in the runoff. However, voters who cast a ballot in the primary must vote using the same party ballot they selected in May.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Friday, June 5.

Sample ballots are available through the Walton County Elections Office website, and voters can check their registration status, view sample ballots, and find their Election Day polling location through the Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page portal.

Officials encourage all eligible residents to participate in the runoff election and make their voices heard at the ballot box.
