Wienermobile to visit Monroe Thursday to celebrate its 90th birthday

Will be at Quality Food from 1 to 4 p.m.

Carly Bowden, aka Corn Dog Carly, announced that that she and her co-pilot will be making a stop in Monroe Thursday afternoon as they criss-cross the country in celebration of the Wienermobile’s 90th birthday.

“I am an Oscar Mayer Hotdogger, driver of the iconic Wienermobile. My co-pilot, Grill Ready Evie, and I will be hauling buns through the Atlanta area this week! We are currently celebrating the Wienermobile’s 90^th birthday, and we want you to join the party,” she said.

Quality Foods in Monroe will be one of the stops from 1 – 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 30. It is located at 748 Spring Street. The Wienermobile will then to on to make a stop at Hong Kong Market in Norcross on Friday and Sandy Springs Farmer’s Market on Saturday.

“At select locations, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile’s 90^th birthday will be celebrating with the Wiener Cake! This one-of-a-kind collaboration with Milk Bar, the birthday cake experts, brings a sweet and savory twist to the classic birthday cake, Bowden said, adding that to make this birthday extra special, fans who are celebrating a loved one’s 90th birthday can visit oscarmayer.com/wienermobile and select lucky dogs will receive a visit from the Wienermobile itself.

“We would love the chance to “ketchup,” with you about this 90-year-old American icon, life as a Hotdogger, and spreading joy across the country. We would also ‘relish’ the opportunity to give you a Wiener Whistle, which you can only get when you see the Wienermobile in person,” she said,
