Public meeting on Loganville zoning rewrite scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday

Public will be able to participate in a Q & A following a presentation

LOGANVILLE, GA (Feb. 2, 2026) – The public kick-off of the Loganville zoning re-write is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Historic Rock Gym located at 135 Main St. in Loganville. Officials will provide an overview of the process and begin the discussion for the long-term vision. There will also be a Q & A for attendees to have some of their questions answered.

Councilwoman Lisa Newberry announced the kick-off for the rewriting of the city’s zoning ordinance at the last City Council meeting. Late last year, the City Council approved a $272,511.75 contract with Franklin, Tennessee-based Town Planning & Urban Design Collaborative (TPUDC) for the
rewrite. TPUDC was selected last October after the council voted on the three firms that had submit bids for the work.

Mayor Brandon Whitfield and Newberry urged residents to attend the meetings and public events. The rewrite is expected to take several months and as much citizenry input as possible is encouraged.
