Loganville’s annual Independence Day celebrations is considered the official kickoff to the county’s week-long celebration of America’s independence – and it never disappoints. This year was no exception. It was a traditional red, white and blue 2025 extravaganza that provided food, fun and fireworks in true patriotic style.

Crowds beat the early heat to congregate Saturday evening in the parking lot of Loganville Police Department and on the fields of West Walton Park in preparation for the party music of Band X and the much anticipated fireworks display.
There was plenty of music from Press Play productions as the young ones enjoyed the Kids Zone and others got to hone there dancing skills in anticipation of Band X kicking off the dance music. Miss Henry County Emily Emmons opened for Band X with a resounding rendition of the National Anthem as crowds stood with their hands over their hearts. Band X then took over the stage with time honored dance music that had many on their feet rocking to the beat.
The weather cooperated perfectly. The heat dropped with the cloud cover at dusk and the few drops of rain held off until after the fireworks grand finale.
And if you missed the fun and fireworks in Loganville Saturday, you still have another chance to get in on the fireworks on July 4th in downtown Monroe.
