The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect who allegedly dragged a sheriff’s deputy while running from a traffic stop on Saturday night.
BCSO reports that the incident happened just before 10 p.m. while assisting the Georgia State Patrol with a traffic stop on Pickle Simon Road the new Barrow County Airport.
“During this checkpoint, a vehicle pulled up and the driver, Samuel Brock, was being checked to ascertain if he had warrants for his arrest. A Barrow County Deputy attempted to remove Brock from his vehicle when Brock accelerated, dragging the deputy for a short distance resulting in minor injuries,” BCSO reported on its Facebook page.
Brock is allegedly wanted for multiple violations and the BCSO is asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact 911 immediately.
