There will be a dinner benefit from 5 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, for Corey Fenn, a local boy who had brain surgery on Oct. 11, 2017 to remove a brain tumor. The funds raised will help the Fenn family who have had to miss work as they help Corey in his recovery. The good news is, he is doing well, and you can help make it easier for the family by buying dinner for $8 a plate.
The Dinner benefit will take place at the Lindsey-Garrett American Legion Post 64 in Monroe. There will also be other family activities to go along with the good food, such as crafts for the kids, face painting and possibly a bake sale.
