Breaking: 2 residents displaced by house fire in Loganville

Loganville officials report a house fire in the city on Thursday night resulted in two residents being displaced.

“City of Loganville firefighters have extinguished a fire at 234 Hummingbird Lane. While the cause of the fire remains under investigation, preliminary indications are the cause was a grease fire in the kitchen,” Robbie Schwartz with the City of Loganville reported. “Firefighters were able to contain most of the fire in the kitchen but smoke and water damage was reported throughout the rest of the residence and some damage to an adjacent residence.”

Schwartz said no injuries were reported.
