A fire in a mobile home on Wednesday evening has displaced an adult and a child according to officials with Walton County Fire Rescue.
“WCFR responded to a fire in a mobile home at 365 Mount Vernon Road. The home was heavily involved in fire upon arrival. The fire caused extensive damage to the home and displaced one adult, and one juvenile,” said WCFR Assistant Fire Chief Craig League.
League said the call came in at 8:48 p.m. on April 29, 2020.
“Red Cross is assisting the occupants. At this time it is believed the fire was caused by a cooking fire,” League said.
