WALTON COUNTY, GA (Feb. 28, 2026) Walton County Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Craig League reports that at 6:53 pm, Saturday, firefighters from WCFR and Loganville Fire Department responded to a residential fire in a mobile home on Indian Trail off Hwy 81 in Walnut Grove.
“Firefighters arrived on scene and found fire burning in the crawl space underneath the house. The fire caused moderate damage to the structure,” League said. “The fire has displaced two adults, and three children. The victims are staying with family and friends.”
League said no injuries were reported, the cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
