Power lines also down in front of Ingles
Walton County Fire Rescue is on the scene of a house fire at 1217 Mystic Drive, north of Loganville. Walton County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Craig League said the fire was the result of a lightning strike.
“Somebody was at home. Everyone got out,” League said. “The occupants advised immediately after the strike the house began filling up with smoke.”
League said he believes something inside the home is on fire, but the fire is under control.
Robbie Schwartz with the City of Loganville said there also are power lines down in front of Ingles as well as a wreck with minor injuries in front of Arby’s.
