Monroe Asst. Fire Chief Bill Owens said crews with Monroe Fire Department battled a fire in an apartment at 501 Pine Park Street in the city on Wednesday evening.
Owens said no injuries were reported.
“Cause is under investigation at this time,” Owens said.
