WALTON COUNTY (Aug. 28, 2026) – Walton County Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Craig League reported that WCFR is on the scene of an overturned semi-truck on Monroe-Jersey Road near Dean Hill Road.
“Monroe-Jersey Road is going to be closed at that location for an extended time period,” League said. “It’s a dump truck semi hauling dirt/sand. All of the load is in the roadway so there will be an extended cleanup.”
League said the driver of the semi is not injured.
Avoid the area.
