MONROE, GA (April 20, 2026) – Monroe Fire Chief Andrew Dykes reports the Monroe Fire Department and Walton County Fire Rescue responded to a fire Monday in the 1100 block of Springer Lane. The fire was quickly extinguished but did result in a family being displaced. The Red Cross has been contacted for assistance.
Dykes said no injuries reported.
