Breaking: Tree down on a car on Breedlove Drive sends one patient to the hospital

Injuries were reportedly non life-threatening

MONROE, GA (June 30, 2025) – Monroe Fire Department reports that a tree came down across Breedlove Drive Monday night landing on a car and sending one person to the hospital.

“At approximately 20:00 MFD units were dispatched to the 500 block of Breedlove Dr. in reference to a tree on a vehicle,” MFD Chief Andrew Dykes said. “Upon arrival personnel found a large tree blocking both lanes and a small passenger car with significant damage to the roof, windshield, and front end. One patient was transported by Walton EMS with non life-threatening injuries.”
