Officials with Walton County Fire Rescue report that an accident has knocked down a power pole in Between, shutting down the road while power is restored to the area. The accident, which cause only one minor injury, happened between Troy Smith and Lee Peters Road on New Hope Church Road late Wednesday afternoon.
“The roadway will be closed for a few hours while Walton EMC restores power to the area and replaces the pole,” Capt. Jeff Allen with WCFR said.
