Compound Fitness Monroe Golf Fundraiser Registration Now Open

Compound Fitness Monroe is gearing up for its second annual fundraiser benefiting The Heart of Madison, bringing the community together once again for a day of friendly competition and meaningful impact.

Set for Aug. 27, 2026, at Providence Country Club, this year’s event marks the gym’s first golf tournament fundraiser and builds on the success of last year’s inaugural 5K through downtown Monroe. Registration is now open, and anyone interested in participating, sponsoring, donating, or helping with the event can access the QR code on the event flyer for more information.

There are several ways for the community to get involved, including registering to participate, becoming a sponsor, contributing to the raffle featuring a month of free membership at Compound Fitness Monroe or six personal training sessions, or making a donation to support the cause.

The fundraiser once again benefits The Heart of Madison, a Covington-based nonprofit founded in 2022 in memory of Madison Evans of Monroe, who passed away from a congenital heart defect. The organization funds a perpetual scholarship at the University of Georgia for Early Childhood Education students while also supporting outreach and charitable initiatives designed to “bless and touch lives.”

For the Compound Fitness Monroe team, the mission is deeply personal. Co-founder April Fralick and coach Kelly Murell both share longtime connections with Madison’s family, making the fundraiser especially meaningful.

Organizers hope the golf tournament will continue expanding the impact of last year’s successful fundraiser by bringing even more community members together to honor Madison’s legacy while supporting opportunities that continue to change lives.
