COVID-19: Georgia 49, Gwinnett 2; Walton 3 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours.

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting two more deaths, Walton County is reporting three more deaths and Georgia is reporting 49 more deaths in the past 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 4,469 – 76 reported in the past 24 hours- 872 in the past 2 weeks 
Cases per 100,000 – 4,664 cumulative (910 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 87 – that’s three more deaths reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 90.8)
Testing 26.9 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 12.6 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 50,631 – that’s 568 reported over the past 24 hours (6,853 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 5,214 cumulative (706 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 558 – That’s two more deaths reported in the past 24 hours (57.5 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 19.7% positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 11.1 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 558,177 that is 5,496 more cases reported in the past 24 hours.
ICU admissions – 7,375 – 53 more admissions reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 41,778– That’s 375 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 9,808– That is 49 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

An additional 3,737 Antigen positive cases were reported in the past 24 hours.

A total of 5,304,793 PCR/Molecular tests have been performed and 401,264 antibody tests. That is 23,511 PCR/Molecular test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the these tests performed collectively, 531,566 (10.0 %) have come back positive and 45,463 (11.3 %) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 4,671 (19.9 %) PCR/Molecular tests came back positive.

Great Oaks, Monroe – 25 confirmed staff members and 45 residents. One more residents and no more staff members reported positive in the past 24 hours. There have been three deaths, one more reported in the past 24 hours.

Hollander Senior Living, Monroe, Two residents, 3 confirmed staff case, one deaths – That’s one more staff member, two residents reporting positive and one death reported in the past 24 hours.

Magnolia Senior Living – Loganville – (Gwinnett County) has 2 staff member who have tested positive – That is no additional case reported in the past 24 hours.

Park Place, Monroe – 104 resident cases, 56 confirmed staff cases, 24 deaths – That’s one more staff, one more resident cases and no more deaths reported in the past 24 hours.

The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 23 confirmed resident cases, four deaths – 19 recovered – 1 staff member – No change in the past 24 hours.

The Retreat at Loganville: 39 confirmed resident cases – 25 staff cases and 6 deaths. That is no more residents, no more staff cases or resident deaths in the past 24 hours.

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that 23 residents and 13 staff members tested positive for COVID-19 and two resident death were reported. No more cases reported or deaths reported in the past 24 hours.
