The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting one more death and Walton County also is reporting no more deaths in the past 24 hours. Georgia is reporting 54 more deaths and 4,293 more cases in the last 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 802 – 225 in the last two weeks.
Cases per 100,000 – 837
Total deaths – 32 – that’s no more deaths reported over the past 24 hours
Hospitalized – 90 – that’s no more hospitalization reported over the past 24 hours

Walton County Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities (cumulative) No more deaths or cases reported in Walton County nursing homes or assisted living facilities in the last 24 hours.

Great Oak, Monroe – 1 staff member at Great Oaks has tested positive 

Magnolia Senior Living – Loganville – (Gwinnett County) has 1 staff member who has tested positive

Park Place, Monroe – 90 confirmed resident cases, 34 confirmed staff cases, 23 deaths reported – that is no more staff member to test positive in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 21 confirmed resident cases, four deaths 
The Retreat at Loganville: one confirmed resident case, one reported recovered, two staff cases, no deaths

Hollander Senior Living, Monroe, one confirmed staff case, no deaths

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that one resident tested positive for COVID-19, one staff member is positive, no deaths and one person recovered. 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 15,915 – that’s 3,844 more cases reported in the past two weeks
Cases per 100,000 – 1,639
Total deaths – 217 – that’s 1 more death reported over the past 24 hours
Hospitalized – 1,830 – That is 40 more hospitalizations reported in the last 24 hour

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 175,052 – that is 4,293 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions – 3,172 – that’s 4 more reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 17,544 – That’s 406 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours
Total deaths – 3,563 – That is 54 more death reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 1,487,326 viral tests have been performed and 216,727 antibody tests. That is 34,363 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 160,824 (10.8 %) have come back positive and 13,511 (6.2 %) antibody tests have come back positive.
