Four arrested in violent home invasion in Walton County

In the Community Alerts for Tuesday, 08-22-17, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported an armed home invasion on John Deere Road with gunshots fired and the residents assaulted. Following an investigation, the WCSO is reporting that four people have now been arrested and charged in this incident.

“Uniform Patrol, Investigations, Crime Scene, and our K-9 Units worked throughout the night and for four days straight to find the suspects responsible,” WCSO reported on its Facebook page.

Arrested Friday were:

  • Jonathan David Welborn, 26 years old, of Braselton, GA
  • Thomas Justin Fields, 30 years old, of Commerce, GA
  • Lisa Elaine Lindsey, 40 years old, of Madison, GA
  • Tracey Ricky Daniel, 24 years old, of Winder, GA

Welborn, Fields, and Daniel were charged with first degree home invasion and two counts of aggravated assault. Lindsey was charged with party to a crime. The suspect were booked into the Walton County Detention Center.

WCSO report that the investigation was a collaborative between the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, Barrow County Sheriff’s Office, Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
