Gratis Worship, the worship band at Gratis Church, debuted their new EP this past Friday on iTunes with some impressive results. According to the band’s producer, Caleb Peavy, their music charted at #66 overall for all Christian music albums and was in the top 10 for new releases over the weekend.
“It was a really big win for local music and art,” Peavy said.
The four song EP was produced by Peavy and Josh Parks and recorded locally in Monroe. Others featured on the album were Jessica Peavy, Ana Peavy and drummer Harrison Cloud (from Mosaic in Athens, GA). Parks is a music business student currently studying at the University of Georgia.
