Kelvin King, an Air Force veteran, businessman, and Georgia native, announced that he is running for the Georgia Secretary of State.

King said he has traveled to all 159 counties, listening to Georgians who are passionate about election integrity. Concerned by a lack of transparency, pressure on election workers, and outdated systems, King said he is running for Secretary of State to restore trust in the process. He pledges to secure elections through hand-count verification, clean up inaccurate voter rolls, hold government employees accountable for unprofessional conduct, and modernize business registration systems.

King promises leadership rooted in service and truth—not politics—aiming to build a fairer, more efficient future for all Georgians. He says his mission is clear, “to get it right this time, for Georgia and for America.”

King, is married to State Election Board member Janelle King. He mounted an unsuccessful bid for the U.S. Senate three years ago. He joins state Rep. Tim Fleming, R-Covington, who has also announced a bid for the Republican nomination for secretary of state.

Incumbent GOP Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has not yet indicated whether he will seek a third term.
