Locals get a ‘Night to Shine’

Guests with special needs honored as Kings and Queens

Corinth Christian Church joyfully hosted the 2026 Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, on Friday, Feb. 13.

The unforgettable worldwide celebration honors and values people with special needs as Kings and Queens.

This year, Corinth welcomed 73 honored guests, supported by nearly 100 parents and caregivers, and made possible by an incredible team of 300 volunteers from across the community.

Night to Shine is held annually on the Friday before Valentine’s Day in churches around the world. The evening featured a red carpet entrance with limousine rides, hair and makeup stations, shoeshines, crafts and activities, karaoke, dinner, classic car rides, a Sensory Room, a Respite Room for caregivers, dancing, and the crowning ceremony where every honored guest is celebrated as royalty — just as God sees them every day.

“It’s hard to put into words what this night means,” said Heather Allison, Community Outreach Director at Corinth Christian Church. “To see 73 Kings and Queens walk through our doors with the biggest smiles and feel celebrated, valued, and deeply loved is something our church family will never forget.”

As a host church, Corinth partnered with the Tim Tebow Foundation, which provides planning resources, support, and disability ministry tools to create a meaningful experience for every honored guest. Over the past decade, Night to Shine has provided hundreds of thousands of guest experiences worldwide

While Night to Shine is a highlight each year, Corinth Christian Church is expanding its commitment to families impacted by disability beyond one special evening.

This year, the church launched Wonder Ministry, a Sunday morning buddy program designed to support individuals with special needs and their families during regular worship services.

Wonder Ministry pairs trained volunteers with participants in a safe, welcoming, and joy-filled environment so families can attend church knowing their loved one is cared for and celebrated.
