The City of Loganville is proud to sponsor its annual Great American Cleanup Dump Day Event from 8 a.m. to noon on April 22. Items will be collected at the Department of Public Utilities, located at 4891 Highway 81 N., Loganville.
The event serves as an opportunity for Loganville residents to bring in unwanted items from their home, such as old furniture, appliances or building materials. Tires, paint or any types of chemicals will not be accepted and ID will be required to show proof of being a Loganville resident.
“This event has continued to grow and enjoy a great deal of success over the years,” said Chris Yancey, director of the City of Loganville’s Department of Public Utilities. “Last year we almost tripled the amount of items collected in 2015 and we are planning to see more residents take advantage of this opportunity to clean out their attics, garages or sheds of things that are taking up space.”
Last year, 45 residents took advantage of the Dump Day event, filling up six 30-yard dumpsters.
