Missing Person Update: Suad Omerovic, 30, has been located in Atlanta

Update: Nov. 2, 2017: Gwinnett County Police report that Suad Omerovic, 30, has been located in Atlanta. No further details are available.

The Gwinnett County Police Department Criminal Investigations Section is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing adult with diminished mental capacity. According to the report from GCPD, Suad Omerovic, 30, has the mental capacity of an 11-year-old. He was last seen on October 21, after walking away from his residence.  Suad was last seen wearing a light green jacket with stripes and blue jeans.  This is not the first time he has wandered from home.  He has been known to frequent The Shoppes at Webb Gin. He was reported missing by a friend of his uncle, who is his guardian. According to the police report, he is very resourceful in finding places to sleep and in getting people to give him money.
