Monroe PD Reports: Assault charges after wife hits husband with car

The following are the incidents reported by the Monroe Police Department between May 4 – 11, 2017. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the fourth part. Please note an  arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Missing Person at Ridgeview.  Subject was brought into Ridgeview to be evaluated by family.  Ridgeview staff member opened a secured door and was leaving it open to talk to another member when subject pushed passed them and escaped.  Subject has a history of schizophrenia, history of suicide and a history of violence.  Subject was placed onto GCIC/NCIC and a check of the surrounding area was done. Ridgeview staff waited 30 minutes before contact 911 of the escape.
  • Domestic at Taco bell reference earlier call involving male and female.  No record on file of female being criminal trespassed from property. Female was banned from Taco Bell for a person of one year per management.
  • Suspicious Person at Old Mill Point in reference to a black male knocking on the door.  Male left prior to police arrival and the called did not want to meet with police.
  • Domestic at Nowell Street.  Caller called in stated she was struck by a male.  The caller would not provide an exact apartment number.  Officers arrived on scene and could not locate the apartment.  The caller called back stating the male left and so did she.  Attempted to locate any history on the phone number and was unable to.  The caller did not provide a name either.
  • Suspicious person at Tanglewood Lane, Subject was given a ride to Clearview for a mental evaluation.
  • Welfare check at Walton Truck Stop / Highway 78, Subject made suicidal threats.  He was taken to Clearview on involuntary evaluation.
  • Theft report at E. Washington St., Complainant lost her wallet.  It was recovered at DFACS.  All ok.
  • Theft report at Mathis Street / Wood Electric, 55 gallon drum taken from outside of the business.
  • Wanted/missing personat Fawnfield Dr., Subject returned to his sister’s residence.  He was given a ride to Ridgeview for a mental evaluation.  Formed signed.  Removed from GCIC.
  • Entering Auto report taken at MPD, Occurred behind the Butcher Block. Complainant advised that someone took two bottles of medication and $120 cash out of his vehicle last date.
  • Animal complaint at WalMart, Ref: small K9 left inside of a tan Ford Taurus.  All ok.
  • Meet with officer at Deere Acres Inn / N. Broad St., Family member of subject that was arrested last date by FIT was on location to retrieve property.  All ok.
  • Suspicious vehicle at S. Broad Street, Ref: blue Toyota failing to maintain lane. Negative contact.
  • Dispute at Taylor’s Wrecker Service, Female on location disputing with employees.  Mediated.  All ok.
  • Traffic stop at E. Spring Street / Hammond Dr., Dwayne Bell10-95 for possession of marijuana less than 1 oz., no insurance and suspended tag.  Vehicle towed by towing co.
  • Welfare check at Felker St., Ref: Making contact with female and her children.  All was ok.
  • Harassment at Fawnfield Dr., Complainant advised that she was being harassed in Rose Ison Ter.  Negative contact with the second party in Rose Ison.
  • Agency assist at WalMart, Advantage advised that their patient was refusing to go inside the store. Female fled on foot from Advantage vehicle and was hiding in the woods. Contact was made and patient returned to Advantage, all ok.
  • Animal complaint at Norris St., Real estate agent on location and was attempting to show house but dog was loose inside and she was concerned for welfare of dog. Dog had food and water, all ok.
  • Harassment at WalMart in reference to female, who is a teacher at MAHS, was touched inappropriately by a student at WalMart.  Juvenile complainant for sexual battery will be done
  • Juvenile Complaint on Landers Street. Kids were seen lying in the road.  Spoke to the parents of the kids and they needed to supervisor their children.
  • 911 Hang up Maple Lane – Maple Place Town Homes.  Spoke to home owner who advised all was ok. Juveniles playing on the phone.
  • Fight on Lacy St., Officer turned down Lacy Street to see two males fighting in the street.  Upon contact they both stopped and did not run.  Subjects said they were “play fighting.”  Told them to leave the area.
  • Theft at Tall Oaks Drive.  Someone took her daughter bicycle off the back porch.  Report declined and stated she would just keep her eye out for anybody riding it.
  • Assault at Plaza Drive in reference to wife striking her husband with the car at 2406 Bold Spring Road.  The event occurred in the county and WCSO took over the investigation.
  • Suspicious Person at Mill Street in reference to a tall skinny black male knocking on complainant’s door advising his car is broke down.  There were no vehicles around.  Area checked with negative contact.
  • Suspicious Vehicle on Baron Drive in reference to vehicles driving recklessly. Located the suspect vehicle at Baron Drive.  Vehicle had extensive damage to the transmission and engine of the vehicle and it was pouring out transmission fluid and oil onto the ground.  Driver of the vehicle advised he was not racing but was having engine problems.
  • Domestic at Claywill Circle.  Husband advised wife would not give him his house keys.  Verbal argument only.  Keys given back.
  • Domestic at 6th Street.  Caller in dispute with husband who was sitting across the street wearing a black tee shirt.  Negative contact with complainant or the husband.
  • Suspicious Vehicle on Baron Drive in reference to dirt bikes racing.  Area checked with negative contact.
  • Dispute at North Broad St., Deer Acres Inn. Motel attendant contacted police because someone was attempting to rent a room with a broken ID card. The ID card was checked by police and the subject was able to rent a room.
  • Dispute at East Fambrough Street– Hillcrest Apartments. Neighbor called and advised she could hear yelling from this location. Medical patient yelling for her son with bedroom window open. Neighbor sits outside on porch to smoke and heard her yelling. All ok.
  • Suspicious Vehicle in the area of Highway 138. Blue passenger car driving fast and passing other vehicles. Area checked with negative contact.
  • Traffic Crash on Walton Street near North Jackson Street. Single vehicle vs. Utility Pole. Driver stated he was looking at his cell phone going to a friend’s house. Monroe Utilities advised of incident and power outage.
