The following are the incidents reported by the Monroe Police Department between April 14 – 20, 2017. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the second part. Please note and arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
- Dispute, Booth Dr., B/M came to residence and kicked front door in to argue w/ girlfriend on location. All ok, verbal only.
- Theft, Ash Lane. in regards to 14-year-old juvenile allegedly stole an Xbox 360 from his mother’s boyfriend. Advised juvenile left just before officer arrival, report taken
- Suspicious vehicle on Highway 138 at Michael Etchison Rd. in regards to 2016 black Honda Accord speeding/unable to maintain lane. Walton County Sheriff’s Office made contact at Jim Daws Road and two Monroe officer’s assisted with stop. Driver checked ok.
- Vehicle complaint on Pine Park Street. Caller stated motorcycles without tags driving up and down the street. Negative contact with the motorcycles. One dirt bike was found on Davis Street, Warned to stay off the road.
- Damage to Property, Nowell St. Complainant’s car was hit in the parking lot.
- Dispute, Meadow Walk Dr., complainant upset over neighbor taking his grass customer business from neighbor’s inside neighborhood. Situation mediated.
- Dispute, East Marable Street in reference to complainant had question about how to keep subject away from him. Situation mediated. Subject had left prior to police arrival to go back to Athens
- Erratic Driver on South Broad Street (Dollar General) Area was searched for the vehicle negative contact.
- Criminal Trespass on Mill Creek Way. The residence back door to both apartments were kicked in nothing was taken.
- Domestic, Nowell St., Reference to a David Richardson and a female subject fighting. Female subject advised David hit and threw her against the outside of her residence. Female also stated David removed the vehicles keys out of the ignition while the vehicle was in motion causing the transmission damage to the vehicle. There were not visible marks on female to confirm the physical altercation. Spoke to multiple witnesses who advised they did not see anything David admitted to removing the keys from the vehicle and was arrest for Criminal Damage to property in the 2nd degree.
- Welfare Check, West Spring Street (Waffle House) in reference to subject released from Clearview Regional Medical Center and still visibly ill. Transported back to Clearview by Walton County EMS.
- Discharging Firearms in the area of Walton Road and John Deer Road. Checked the area and negative contact.
- Dispute, Alcovy St., in reference to complainant said during a verbal altercation with male subject a female grabbed his arm.
- Dispute at 127 Nelson Street. Two arguing over spilled cucumbers. One subject, Christopher Pittman, was not on scene when officers arrived, but he does have an active warrant for failure to appear. Other subject advised nothing physical happened.
- Civil Issue, East Church St., (Chevron) reference a male subject advising he did not get his change back from getting gas. Male subject was refereed to on duty staff to return in the AM to speak to manager.
- Suspicious Activity, South Broad Street. Complainant stated that she heard someone knocking at her door and did not know who it was. She did not see anyone outside. I checked the area around the residence and did not locate anyone outside.
- Domestic, Tanglewood Drive. Male subject punched female subject in the face and accused her of cheating at the Harris Street Legion. Battery (FV) warrant to be taken.
- Damage to Property, South Broad Street (Southside MHP) While on patrol I noticed that that the sign outside of Southside MHP had been spray painted in red paint with “F 12” a penis and “Go Dawgs” “What’s red is dead” “NSG” “Adinjuiy justin was here”
- Gunshots, Harris Street (American Legion) reports of a gunshot coming from the behind the legion. On arrival no one heard or saw anything. A heavy smell of drugs was in the area and people were trying to leave the legion in a hurry.
- Domestic, Wheel House Lane, Reference a male and female subjects fighting over food and lack of affection. Male placed female against the wall because she would not talk to him. Female stated she was not in fear for her life or safety. Parties separated for the night.
- Assault at Clearview Hospital, female advised she was jumped on by several subjects on Reed Way, fell and cut her hand. Female intoxicated and declined an incident report.
- Domestic problem, Pine Knoll St. in regards to B/M with medical issues calling 911 due to believing his wife was getting attacked and locked himself in bathroom. All ok, wife was fine. B/M was also intoxicated.
- EMS assist, E. Fambrough St., Female living in the apartment by herself and has extensive medical problems. Attempted contact w/ DFACS and they advised to contact Adult Protective Services. Phone number was given to female.
- Damage to property @ Southside Mobile Home Park in regards to graffiti sprayed on sign at entrance. Incident was reported to night shift and maintenance was notified and on way to paint sign. Property manager did not want police documentation.
- Domestic problem, King St. between two subjects over relationship and one subject got upset and pulled a gun on the other. Subject wanted TPO information and did not request report. Domestic dispute will be documented, Other subject was GOA on white VW sedan prior to arrival
- Agency assist in regards to runaway juvenile from Morgan Co. possibly on Mill St. in regards to W/F w/ blue hair and blue eyes using 38D drugs in area. Area checked with negative contact.
- Dispute, Clearview in regards to male subject becoming combative with staff. Medical papers were signed and subject calmed down. All ok at this time.
- Suspicious vehicle on S. Broad St. near CVS headed NB in regards to black Range Rover speeding. Contact made and observed driving. All ok.
- Suspicious vehicle on Charlotte Rowell Blvd. headed towards Walmart in regards to tan Toyota car w/ no tag speeding/reckless. Area checked with negative contact.
- Officer’s called to Monroe Fire Station in regards to male on location advising of person w/ a warrant. Named male was in question and warrant was confirmed and subject supposedly at Green St. Officers arrived at scene and subject ran out back door, officer chased on foot and lost contact at Carver Pl., area check on foot w negative contact. Female subject cited for DOC
- Stopping suspicious vehicle on S. Madison Ave. in regards to Antonio Hillman in vehicle from above call. Hillman was arrested for active warrants.
