Monroe PD Reports: Homeless mother and child, large melee in roadway and usual disputes

The City of Monroe reported the following incidents for the period Oct. 19 – 25, 2018. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the second part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Domestic, Pine Park St., reference to Aliksn Tulenkun and his wife involved in a dispute. Mr. Aliksn was arrested for Family Violence, Simple Assault and Obstruction.
  • Dispute, West Marable St., 3rd party called and said a female subject was fighting with her boyfriend. Made contact with the subject and she advised she was not arguing with anyone.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Bridgeport Lane, parties were advised to properly park vehicles and to keep the music down.  The adult on the scene was spoken to and given a warning for the party.
  • Domestic, Applebee’s, compliant stated her child’s father was calling her and came to the restaurant and attempted to fight her friend.  She asked that a report be made for this incident.
  • Juvenile Runaway, Perry St., the mother stated that her son left the house and ran down the road. She did not want a report and asked for an officer to check the area. No contact
  • Suspicious Person, Harris St./E Church St., a male subject was located laying on the side of the road. he stated that he was homeless and wanted to be seen by EMS. Turned over to EMS
  • Dispute, Ridge Rd., reference to a male subject not leaving the location. Officer located subject on the way to the call who advised he lives at the address. Officer made contact with the caller who stated subject had been drinking and she did not want him at the residence.  It was explained to both parties that he had a right to be there.  Report Taken.
  • Dispute, Maple Lane, the complainant called in reference to her children’s father on location refusing to leave. Children’s father was warned of criminal trespass. Report taken
  • Welfare Check, Perry St., reference to a 12-year-old being located in Watkinsville. Family was made aware and is location and was en route to get him.
  • Assault, West Spring St., father advised that his 24-year-old daughter was involved in a physical altercation. Daughter refused to provide any information.
  • Suspicious Person, Pilot Park, mother called and advised she was at Pilot Park with her child and they were cold. Mother was given the address to the shelter in Athens when she advised she had money for gas. She advised she was going there. All ok at this time.
  • Sexual Assault, South Broad St., mother advised her 3-year-old daughter was possibly sexually assaulted by a 10-year-old boy in Oxford. She was referred to the Oxford Police Dept.
  • 911 Hang Up, Heritage Ridge Dr., an elderly female, called due to not being able to find her medical paperwork. Her husband advised that she possibly has dementia but she will not go to the doctor to seek treatment. The husband was advised of available remedies.
  • 911 Hang Up, Heritage Ridge Dr., elderly female from above call advised she dialed three times by mistake. Ems arrived on scene and advised she passed their mental assessment. Mental evaluation process was explained to the husband.
  • Fight, Walton Mills, reference to 30 subjects fighting in the roadway. Upon our arrival, everyone fled on foot.
  • Dispute, South Broad St., met with a caller in reference to an argument over the heat. Provided remedies. All ok.
  • Dispute, Green St., reference to the complainant and his ex-girlfriend separating and disputing over property.  Advised to go to the courthouse to settle the dispute over the property.
  • Agency Assist, Heritage Ridge Ct., met with DFACS to stand by while they investigate a case. Report made. All ok.
  • Suspicious Person, Booth Dr., reference to two individuals both subjects sent on their way.
