Monroe PD Reports: Woman charged after filling 23 double pages of 911 calls in July

The following are the incidents reported by the Monroe Police Department between July 20 – 21, 2017. Due to the length, this report has been split into four parts. This is the first part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Damage to property, South Broad St., Walton Security Storage, complainant advised U-Haul truck damaged. Damage was due to hit and run in Forsyth county and a report was already filed, all ok.
  • Counterfeit, Highway 78. Walton Truck Stop, female subject attempted to pass a $20 that was suspected to be counterfeit. Collected for evidence.
  • Suspicious person, West Spring St., Liberty First Bank, area checked with negative contact.
  • Civil issue, Morrow St. Complainant left the residence prior to officer arrival and proceeded to an address in the county and asked for a SO unit.
  • Damage to property report taken at South Broad St., MPD, and complainant advised she was rear ended on 6 July 2017. Driver one advised he’d pay for damage and it was $600.00 to fix and now driver isn’t wanting to pay.
  • Warrant, Hillcrest Village, resident gave consent to search. Searched residence with negative contact. Officer observed Mr. Baker go into another apt. and residence denied access to officers. Mr. baker came out of back door on his own and was arrested.
  • Agency assist, West Marable St. DFACS conducting home visit and requesting PD. Referral stated that a 2-year- had burn on her nose and 3-year-old had a knot on his head. Children left on location, safety plan put in place, report completed.
  • Domestic dispute, Booth Dr., complainant advised he was standing by in a black Chrysler and wanted officers present while retrieving property. Negative contact at both Apts.
  • Dispute, South Broad St., Personal Care Home, female resident threw some water on her nurse. Her mother-in- law came to take female to Clearview for a voluntary medical exam.
  • Suspicious person, MLK Jr. Blvd, Carmichael Drugs. Elderly female in blue shirt with long handled purse wondering the parking lot for 40 min. Officer was flagged down and told she was gone.
  • Suspicious vehicle, West Spring St., Home Depot. Ref to a Car with a FL tag selling stereo equipment from the vehicle. Area checked with negative contact.
  • Theft report, South Broad St., Southside MHP, complainant advised named male subject took her Honda pressure washer about three weeks ago, and last time he stole it he took it to Golden Pawn.  Located pressure washer at Golden Pawn. Warrant to be taken by officer.
  • Dispute, Green St. in regards to complainant disputing w/ neighbors over their vehicles. Complainant stated she was disputing w/ unknown female due to her turning around in complainant’s driveway earlier this date. Complainant also stated the female was a “name given” and did not like them. Situation mediated. Complainant has called 911 4 times this date over same issue.
  • Theft, Booth Dr., complainant stated she had 3 pairs of shoes stolen from residence by named subject. Complainant stated when she tried to confront named subject, he fled on foot. Report taken, Named subject already has active warrants.
  • Fight, Mill Creek Way called in anonymously. Units arrived on scene and no active fight taking place. Area checked w/ negative contact
  • Threats, Wheelhouse Ln., complainant stated unknown black male came up to her and stated another black male said he was going to shoot her son over the fight that happened earlier. Complainant advised the man was wearing red pants and no shirt. Area was checked and multiple black males were wearing red pants w/ no shirts. Report taken
  • Subject w/ warrant on N. Broad St., Food Mart. Landon Tullis approached while on traffic stop and had active warrant. Tullis arrested and transported to Walton County Jail.
  • Suspicious persons, Old Mill Point in regards to vehicle occupied multiple times pulled into driveway of residence and residents are not home. Birthday party was taking place and all parties made aware of laws. Vehicles moved to proper parking.
  • Suspicious person, Clearview, female subject in parking lot asking people for a cigarette and a ride. Subject found ride home prior to my arrival. All ok.
  • Dispute, Magnolia Terr. Between two females. Parties were yelling at each other for a Facebook message from last year. Situation was mediated for now.
  • Fight w/ shots fired, Old Mill Point. Arrived on scene and red Ford Expedition tried to flee from scene. Felony stop w/ vehicle and all passengers and driver removed from vehicle (three males and Michael Malcom). Michael Malcom inside vehicle and arrested for county warrant. All ok w/ other passengers and driver and sent on way. Negative contact w/ fight.
  • Suspicious person, S. Madison Ave. in regards to complainant stating unknown person knocked on her door and then ran away. While en-route to previous call, saw suspicious juveniles on bikes in the area. Residence was checked, negative contact w/ anyone in area.
  • Suspicious vehicle on Victory Dr. parked in front of Holsey Concrete. GA tag had no valid insurance and was unoccupied. Concrete plant was checked, all appeared ok.
  • Suicide attempt, Clearview. White was in parking lot w/ self-inflicted lacerations and left on foot. Contact made 16-year-old male and transported to Clearview for health evaluation. A DFACS complaint will be filed as well due to being a juvenile and not under the care of any guardians.
  • Animal complaint in the area of Barron Properties. Dog was taken into custody and transported to Animal Control.
  • Request for area check on East Washington and Athens First Bank. Customer advised sign said they were supposed to be open till noon today. Sign in window advised they were closed today due to system updates.
  • Domestic dispute, Booth Dr., complainant on location to retrieve property. Female subject began verbally disputing, report taken.
  • Dispute, G. W. Carver Dr., two females disputing. One female came to other female’s house to confront her over a mutual lover named. Report taken.
  • Dispute, West Spring St., Saki Express. Dispute between staff and customer. Got a new plate of food and was sent on their way, all ok.
  • Loud music, Green St., female subject playing her own gospel music from the residence, all ok.
  • 23 pages front and back of call logs from female subejct since July 1st. As soon as officer left her house she called again requesting different officers, all were busy unless urgent, female subject was dissatisfied and continued to call 911 several more times and called a dispatcher a “bitch” on a recorded 911 line. Warrant to be taken for female subject for unlawful conduct during 911 call and DOC.
  • Domestic dispute, South Broad St., CVS. Incident occurred on Alcovy St., complaint’s brother and mother arguing, situation mediated.
  • Suspicious vehicle, Belle Meade. Silver Honda parked in front of Belle Meade, windows down and unoccupied. Dispatch attempted contact with owner, all ok.
  • Unknown Law, Southview Dr., male subject unconscious and bleeding from the head found by his wife in the driveway. Male subject had numerous medical issues and complaint about his chest hurting earlier in the day. CID notified and responded.
  • Juvenile complaint, Tall Oaks Ln. 16-year-old son being disrespectful, situation mediated.
  • Suspicious vehicle, in the area of East Fambrough St.  Gold van failing to maintain lane, pulled into the Engine Room. Vehicle was parked and unoccupied.
  • Damage to property, Plaza Dr. Ref to damage to a vehicle, unknown where it occurred.
  • Shoplifting, West Spring St., WalMart. Employee Wesley Green arrested for theft by conversion for taking a store use pressure washer home. WTBT.
  • Suspicious vehicle, Highway 138 getting onto 78 EB speeding and reckless. Area checked with negative contact.
  • Domestic dispute, West Marable St., complainant report her boyfriend put sugar in her gas tank.
  • Harassment, Ridge Rd., complainant advised of two named subjects knocked on his door wanting to see if he had any hair to sell. Requested report and advised of remedies.
  • Suspicious person/vehicle in regards to anonymous caller advising red Ford Ranger not having insurance and expired tag. Contact made and all was ok on vehicle. No probable cause to stop vehicle.
  • Suspicious person at Hardee’s in regards to subject w/ active warrant. Contact made w/ Meredith Ethridge and had active warrant out of Oconee County. Ethridge arrested and transported to Oconee line where met w/ Oconee County deputy to exchange custody.
  • Suspicious vehicles on Gatewood Way drag-racing. Area checked w/ negative contact.
