Monroe to consider allowing golf carts on city streets

The City of Monroe will have its June Called Meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at City Hall on N. Broad Street. Items on the agenda include an application by Kaity’s Downtown for a beer and wine license. The City also is considering amending its ordinance to allow for golf carts to be used on city roads under certain conditions.
