The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period 11 – 18, 2021. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Found Property – Armistead Cir caller found a driver’s license. The license was placed in Property and Evidence.
Juvenile Complaint – West Marable: In reference to Juveniles destroying property. Complainant wanted to report neighborhood kids flicking her off and parents not responding. Referred to DFACS.
Dispute – S Broad St verbal dispute between two parties. Parties separated, all ok.
Damage to Property – Wheel House Ln Broken window, report taken.
Dispute – Manor P -Two parties in a verbal dispute over property, one was GOA. Both parties are not in a domestic relationship. Remedies advised.
Child Pornography – South Broad Street. In reference to meeting with complainant reporting that an inappropriate video with her juvenile daughter in it was sent to a friend of hers. Report taken.
Dispute – Davis Street: In reference to subject being assaulted by multiple subjects. Subject was uncooperative in providing details and signed a non-prosecution waiver.
Theft Report – Magnolia Street: in reference to complainant reporting his housekeeper stealing money from his wallet.
Unknown Law – Wheelhouse Ln – Reference to a subject physically disputing with several family members including juveniles. Subject was arrested and charged with multiple family violence charges.
Suspicious Person -E Spring & N Madison in reference to a named subject drunk and in the roadway. He was arrested and transported to Walton County Sheriff’s Office Jail.
Dispute – Manor Pl Complainant receiving threaten phone calls from subject; said threats were witnessed by officers.
Damage to Property – Chestnut Ln. Ref Complainants’ 2011 Honda Accord being hit while she was inside Da Grand at a concert. Pictures were added.
Counterfeit – East Spring St., Breedlove Insurance. In reference to business turning a fake $100 dollar bill into the bank.
Burglary In Progress – Wellington Drive – Complainant believed someone was in her bed when she arrived home from work. Officers cleared the residence. ALL OK.
Burglary – Creek View Ct possible burglary occurring. Ongoing issue at this residence due to mental illness. No burglary occurred.
Prowler Report – S. Madison Ave. Elderly caller advised that she heard what sounded like someone attempting to open the back door to her residence. Checked her residence per her request. All ok. Will be doing regular area checks.
