MPD Reports: Son allegedly bites his mother and other domestic disputes

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Dec. 17 – 24, 2020. Due to the length, this report has been split into four parts. This is the third part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Animal Complaint -Breedlove Drive and Alcovy – In reference to two German Shepard’s running lose on Breedlove Dr. Both dogs were checked for microchips by Animal Control before they were brought to the Animal Control Center. 

Civil Issue – Hubbard Street; A. Subject and her niece in a verbal disagreement over living conditions. Civil remedies were advised and niece left on her own choice. 

Theft Report – Michael Circle – In reference to subject stated someone stole her gun out of her purse while she was at her sisters’ house in Covington. Subject was advised since her gun was stolen at her sister’s house in Covington, she would have to file a report with Covington PD. 

Other Law – Springdale Road. In reference to a 911 call from a female screaming for help. Area was checked extensively on foot. Officers also spoke with residents at neighboring houses. Negative contact. Phone was 911 only and unable to be called back. 

Unknown Law – Springdale Road. In reference to a 911 call from a female screaming for help. Area was checked extensively with no contact. Phone was 911 only and unable to be called back. See also call #12. 

Animal Complaint -Tigers Way & Masters drive. In reference to a loose and aggressive dog. Area checked with no contact. 

Child Custody – Plaza Dr. In reference to a custody dispute/court order. Complainant canceled the call prior to officer arrival. Complainant re-contacted back requesting to meet with an officer. All ok. 

Dispute – Gliding Ln. In reference to the complainant advising that they are arguing with someone on location over a cousin biting his mother. No police or EMS action was needed. All units returned to service. 

Dispute – Plaza Dr. In reference to neighbors outside disputing. Complainant is third party. Husband and his wife got into a dispute over money. Wife was gone when officers arrived. 

Suspicious Person/ Agency Assist) on Hwy 11 at Charlotte Rowell Blvd. Officers assisted with locating a subject that was on foot in the area. Walton County Sheriff’s Office located the subject at WOW car wash. 

Prowler Report – Edwards St. In reference to someone tapping on the window. Negative contact with anyone outside the residence, the area was checked. The homeowner advised that they did not get a description of the individual outside their residence. All ok. 

Dispute- Landers St. In reference to a subject in a brown Ford truck, who struck the complainant’s vehicle and mailbox. Subject was gone on foot upon Officer arrival. Parties on scene were not willing to give information related to the subject. 

Theft – South Broad Street: In reference to subject missing $300 dollars in cash from her wallet. Report made. 

Stolen Vehicle – Pine Knoll: In reference to a vehicle taken over night. Vehicle was taken on an errand by boyfriend. Civil Matter. 

Dispute – East Washington Street: In reference to subject acting out due to not taking his medication. Subject just started back. Parties separated and situation mediated. 

Theft – East Spring Street (Taylor’s Wrecker Service) Case Smith wanted to file a report in reference to trying to get his vehicle out of impound, and stating his title was stolen from the vehicle at some point. Report taken. 

Dispute – Alcovy Street in reference to subject was arguing with her 14-year-old about not taking her computer to her father’s hotel room. 

Hit & Run – HWY 138 at West Spring Street in reference to a black BMW collided into a Jeep Rubicon and left the scene. Subject said he does not want a report due to there was no damage to his. 

Dispute -Tanglewood Drive In reference to subject wanting an officer and disputing with his girlfriend. He was gone from the residence when officers arrived. 

Threats – Stowers Street in reference to subject receiving threats through social media. Remedies advised. 

Other Law – S Broad St; MPD in reference to complainant stating that he had rented his gold Nissan Altima to subject and that she was now avoiding contact with him. Report taken 

Enter Auto – Walton St in reference to subjects actively entering a vehicle and fleeing on foot. Address later confirmed to be in Loganville. 

Dispute – W Spring St in reference to customers having a verbal argument in the lobby, all OK. 

Dispute – S Hammond Dr In reference complainant being an altercation with a subject. He was arrested for Aggravated Assault and transported to the jail.
