The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Nov. 12 – 19, 2020. Due to the length, this report has been split into six parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Prowler – New Lacy St. In reference to the complainant stating that they can hear footsteps and a dog barking. negative contact with anyone.
Loitering – West Spring Street (Piedmont Walton): Subject refusing to leave. A family member is en route to pick subject up. All okay.
Juvenile Complaint – S. Broad St. Male juvenile in a red jacket asking for money. I met with the juvenile and told him to go home and stop asking people for money.
Agency Assist – Great Oaks Dr (Walton Eye Care): In reference to Assisting WCSO with a extended ETA, subject having eye issues and possibly mental issues.
Fraud – West Spring Street (Liberty Bank): In reference to Fraudulent activity and a counterfeit check being presented on a customer’s account. Report Made.
Dispute – Highland Terrace in reference to a 54-year-old female talking out of her head. Turned over to EMS
Stolen Vehicle – Green Street In reference to a stolen Dodge Avenger at the location that All State Insurance disabled. Jay’s Wrecker Service took custody of the vehicle.
Other Law – King Street Complainant wanted to report her vehicle stolen that occurred on 10/25/2020.
Damage to property -Hwy 78 East @ Marable Street Bridge: in reference to driver striking a tire in the roadway.
Stolen vehicle – Green Street in reference to Lt. Mura was following behind a Chevrolet Trailblazer driving recklessly and then the driver jumped out of the vehicle. The owner then called 911 minutes after the incident and reported her vehicle was stolen from Felker Street
Suspicious Person – Lakeview Drive. Complainant called and advised that her neighbor from across the street ran over to her house and scared her. He was saying someone was under his house and was trying to kill him. He left the scene. Negative contact.
Mental – Radford Street: In reference to subject off his medication. Complainant wanted Her son to be transported by EMS to Piedmont Walton for mental evaluation.
Other Law – N. Broad St Complainant advised he heard someone was under his house in the crawlspace. He said it scared him which is why he ran away. I told him to go back home and call if we were needed.
Dispute – West Marable Street subject having a verbal argument with her boyfriend. Theft – North Broad Street (Golden Pantry): in reference to employee theft.
Theft – Ridge Road: In reference to money being taken off the complaint’s cash card App account. Report made.
Harassment – Davis St – Complainant stating that subject was publishing her nude photos online. Report taken.
Damage to property – S Wayne St & McDaniel St – during an investigation of a traffic collision, a probable cause search of one of the vehicles was conducted. Two subjects were arrested for possession of meth, possession of drug related objects, and possession of marijuana.
Suicide Threat – Ford St – Subject stating that he wanted to commit suicide. E.M.S arrived
Burglary – Sporty Ln – In reference to complainant coming home to his rear door kicked in. Glock 23 was taken. Complainant could not provide the serial number so stolen gun was not entered onto G.C.I.C.
