No injuries were reported but one apartment was hit
MONROE, GA (Feb. 17, 2026) – The Monroe Police Department reports that it is actively investigating a discharge of firearms that occurred on Sunday, Feb. 15, in the 100 block of Tanglewood Drive.
According to a press release, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area and are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. During the investigation, it was determined that one apartment was struck. No injuries were reported.
