Lorraine Bundy, age 80 of Monroe, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, September 28, 2017 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Beachy & Pastor Rob Coones will officiate. Interment will follow at Hill Haven Memory Gardens in Monroe.

Lorraine was a member of Grace Temple in Monroe and she was a Foster Parent in NC for 20 years. She was known as Wife, Mom, Grandma, Oma, and Sister & Friend. She loved with an open heart to all that she met, as she was able to connect with people in a personal way. She lived as a Prayer Warrior, and was loved & cherished by all who were Blessed with her friendship. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Caroll & Lovada Miller Young; her Husband: Kenneth Bundy; her son: Kenny Bundy and she is survived by her Children: Randy Bundy of Monroe; Etta York of Monroe; Teresa & Dwight Beachy of Monroe; Brothers: Wayne Young of High Point, NC; David Young of Monroe; Sisters: Mary Brooks of Williston, FL; Grace Allen of Monroe; 7 Grandchildren; 18 Great-Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
