Aluara L. Wilkins, age 86 of Monroe, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Hampton officiating. Interment will follow at Bay Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 4170 Bay Creek Church Road, Loganville, GA 30052.
Aluara was retired from Oxford, and she was a member of Monroe Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Matthew and Mary Kate (Whitley) Peters; sons, Maurice and Kerry Wilkins; grandson, Joshua Wilkins, sister, Jeanette Walters. Aluara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charmin (Crayton) Young of Washington, GA; grandchildren, Terah (Joshua) Cannon, Matthew (Tiffany) Young, Jeremy Wilkins; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Reid, Ryker, Mya, Logan, Drayton and Brantsyn. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Tim Stewart Funeral Home,209 South Hammond Drive, Monroe, GA 30655. 770-267-2594.
