James “Duke” Chriswell, age 74 of Loganville, GA, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Logan Chriswell and Adam Chriswell officiating. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church of Youth Cemetery, 2655 Broadnax Mill Road, Loganville. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM prior to the service. James worked as a carpenter prior to retiring. He was a loving husband, father and grandfath
er that will be missed deeply by his family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Maudie Irene (Davis) Chriswell; granddaughter, Kelly Ann Chriswell; parents, Clifford Walker and Helen Ruth Chriswell; and brother, Duncan “Humpy” Chriswell. James is survived by his children, James Walker Chriswell, Jr. of Loganville, Elizabeth Ann Chriswell of Loganville, Robin Amanda Chriswell of Newnan, Adam Michael Chriswell (Angel)
