Luther Palmer, age 84 of Social Circle, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 26, 2026 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Gum Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 4610 Center Hill Church Road, Loganville, GA. The family will receive friends 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM prior to the service.
Luther was a member of Bay Creek Baptist Church and worked for Hayes Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM for many years in the parts department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn (Lee) Palmer; parents, Luther Jackson and Mamie (Boss) Palmer; and siblings, Orien Palmer, Jimmy Palmer, Johnny Palmer, Gene Palmer, and Betty Allen. Luther is survived by his son, Rodney Palmer of Social Circle, GA; daughter, Nancy Snyder of Danielsville, GA; sister, Patricia (Carl Lee) Mercier of Carl, GA; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
